DESC has been fortunate to receive grants in 2023. All such financial help makes a huge difference to our overall viability and most of all our capability in implementing projects and pursuing our goals. So in 2023 we received:

€600 from Waterford Council through the Community Recognition Fund (equipment)

€665 from Waterford Council through the Supporting Waterford Communities (coach /swim teacher development)

€800 from the Waterford Sports Partnership (WSP) - Phase 2 of Sanctuary Swimmers

€150 from Waterford Sports Partnership (WSP) to support individuals graduating from the Over 55s Swim programme

€1,000 from HSE/Older Persons Section/Lottery to implement a special swim course for over 55 year olds
